Carol Clay – Greensboro, NC

Handwoven wearables and throws comprised of between four and 60 blended colours each. Colour designs are inspired by my interpretation of colours found in nature.  All Natural fibers, sourced principally from American producers, are used throughout.  Fibers used are mohair, wool, cotton, silk and rayon.  I also weave scarves and shawls from organically raised, 100% cotton that is grown naturally without chemicals or dyes in four colours…brown, green, tan and white.  These items are among the “greenest” clothing available anywhere.  I believe my handwoven creations are both artistic and functional.  They provide the users a way to wear complimentary art on their bodies and use in there homes. All items are handwoven using traditional weaving techniques on traditional floor looms.
