BryceEach unique stoneware piece represents my interest in both Western and Eastern traditions that use the figure to portray both decorative and narrative elements. Ribbons of clay are used to create a metaphor for drayery and the volumes of the figure as opposed to strict illustration of anatomy and clothing. Each piece is fired to cone 04 and colored with iron oxides and applied pigments.
