skirpaMy jewelry and small metalwork is a combination of my preoccupations with the human body, architecture, and nature.

I work primarily with shape, as the crucial aesthetic element, and surface decoration is used to enhance shape and offer some depth and color.

I strive to create work that evokes a sense of age and yet retains a contemporary style. By working with an evolving “library of forms,” I am able to work with spontaneity and the creative process as well as maintain and utilize the precision of a jeweler.
