Kim Koch is a 1977 University of Wisconsin Stevens Point graduate. In 1980 Koch started his jewelry design business; in 1996 he partnered with GIA Graduate Gemologist Mary Brodhagen. Based in Mequon, Wisconsin they offer every client personal attention and thirty years experience.
Koch is recognized nationally for innovative award winning design and superior craftsmanship. In order to maintain the highest standards, he personally designs and creates each piece. His techniques include: casting, forging, fabrication, and multiple surface treatments, often all utilized in a single piece. He specializes in rare, color gemstones set in gold and platinum.
Some of his prestigious awards include three-time winner of Wisconsin Jewelers Association, AGTA Spectrum, Signity, and The Niche Award.
By winning awards and participating in fine art shows, Kim Koch Designs has earned a national clientele.
