My love for color, interiors, shape and form has inspired my most recent group of paintings and drawings. Finding places to rest, places to stop and breathe and daydream reflect a need in our lives to slow down to take time to gaze upon beautiful colors.
Trained in painting and graphic design at Kendall College of Art & Design, my work has a certain close up and cropped look, bringing the viewer into a scene to recall a feeling or space the viewer may have experienced. The feeling and energy of someone about to enter a room or having just been there. Working with color, light, and brush stroke I capture a moment where one is aware of the energy or sense of being in that very moment.
