Color, geometry and motion are the driving elements in my artwork. For those of you who have visited my booth at a fair, you know that I paint a wide variety of subjects including florals, landscapes, abstracts, seascapes and more. But, all of my work has a common look and feel that identifies it as one of mine.
My father was an architect and I grew up in a very modern home in the 1960’s. I enjoyed the pop art movement of the time along with impressionistic work of the prior century. People at shows tell me my work looks like 50 different artists, everyone sees something a little different in what I create. Most of the painting I currently do is acrylic on canvas using a pallet knife. All of my work at shows is original, I have made no copies or reproductions of any of my work. I paint and sell several hundred paintings a year at shows and through a few galleries. Cheryl and I expect we will slow down some time in the future, but that point has not hit us yet. Thanks for supporting the arts.
